What makes a strong relationship between PR practitioners and the media is research. In order to benefit clients, PR practitioners must research things such as publications, broadcastings, reporters and editors in order to receive and act on correct information. If practitioners want reporters to cooperate with them, it is important that they build a relationship by researching what a reporter’s job specifically is so that they can go about using them to write about a client or a client’s product.
